Banks When the bank phones you up and asks for you to come and see them for a chat...its never good is it? Got an appointment with Sandra at 10.30 this morning to discuss my 'financial situation' im shitting myself. I got £25 in my account atm...well, left of my overdraft...u think i shud remove it? :cry2:
I think i will, just in case...cos its my only £20 in the world i cant be the 1st person with student account not to graduate can i? so there must be sumthing they can do. I scared :cry2:
don't worry bout it too much...i got wrong when i was never a student or a graduate (or not) i had to cut my bank card & cheque book up in front of a bank full of ppl...very humiliating!
It will be nothing i had the same thing last week, was just an account review. If its Lloyds TSB they will probs and try and get you in more debt by offering u a credit card/loan.
I had the bastards from HSBC phoning me asking why I hadnt paid my credit card repayments in the past 4 months......and I told them I didnt know I had to pay repayments needless to say, i had to cough up £60. Bastards.
its probably because youve finished uni and now they need to know how you intend on paying your overdraft back.... at this stage its a soft scare tactic so dont worry. My EX GIRLFRIEND is still in and out of her student overdraft 4 years after we finished uni... so as long as you have the ability to make payments on that account in some way, shape or form... your sorted.
ahh...that wasnt too bad. im now paying interest on my loan but it only works out at about £5 a month, and i have a month to find a job so they can turn it into a loan for me. they didnt discuss what wud happen if i DIDNT get a job in the month tho :S and ive just applied for JSA
takes bout five minutes man.... just go into bank and ask bout it... u need ID, proof that ur a student and a letter to say what course u i s on. But if u dont have a gud credit rating they'll still tell you to fuck off. like they did to me
