    US Mercenary, Jonathan K Idema.

An American Mercenary and a couple of pals are currently on trial in Afghanistan on charges of torture, kidnapping and running a private jail.

His building in Kabul was raided and the authorities found four afghans hanging upside down by their feet... Apparently been tortured into giving information about the location Osama BL.

During the Trial Idema has stated he was/is working alongside with the US Authorities, The US on the other hand say they have NOTHING to do with him. Idema has since PROVED the US has taken at least one prisoner off his hands for CASH. The Pentagon has had to confirm this as well.

He claimed to have helped prevent several attempted terrorist attacks inc. assassination attempts and said he had regular e-mail, phone and fax contact with Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's office and other senior Pentagon officials.

Idema is just one of the many Merc's that the US has tempted into many war zones with their Wild West like Bountys on al-Qaeda fugitives. The US government has promised $25m for anyone who facilitates the arrest of al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.

It seems when things turn messy these guys have face the music on their own.

So you think, when they went in, they expected to get support from the American government if it all went wrong? I doubt they did! If you're a mercenary surely you don't expect it?

Black Hawk Down rocks but were there any mercenaries in that? All I remember from that film is entrails! :p

Totally, it's still illegal what they are doing, and they know it.

    Dear Jon,

You are a very naughty boy and what you are doing is ILLEGAL. I am afraid the USA cannot help you in your current legal predicament.

    Yours Truly

    George Bush

Ps. Many thanks for the terrorists you handed over to us. Have you got anymore?
