We havent had a fire drill for 2 years

my what a saftey concious place you work!! We're a college so they have to keep checking it to make sure none of the scally kids burn to death, although...........

There is no time for safety here, if there was a fire drill we would probs have to make it up in overtime

U cant smoke outside my office...u have to go all the way into the carpark or off site. also, there's absolutely no phone reception here until im in the carpark. it's poo

We had a proper fire alarm yesterday, someone set the bin outside alight with a cigarette!!! Bloody annoying as had to evacuate the building.

Fire test every Friday, 9.30am too. You know it's gonna happen but still sh!t a brick when the thing comes on!

Ours is 10am every friday.. we get a nice woman over the speaker system telling us to 'prepare' for the test. Then a mind altering wail comes on with a sweet voice that says "Attention. This is an emergency. Please leave the building. Do NOT use the lifts".... is there a need to go that far really! :rollseyes:

Ours is every thursday....it just sounds like a loud doorbell!

we get our fire alarm test every tuesday... and the fucker still catches me out every time...

Tuesday morning, the fella comes in, I get him the red log book, he writes in it and disappears, than I crap myself 2 minutes later when the alarm goes off.

every thursday at 10 am

"good morning, we are going to test the fire alarms, theres is no need to evacuate the building, the lifts will travel and park on the ground floor"
