would you want to see houses burning every other day and your neighbours and frinds being carted off by the police?

Try and picture in your mind the kind of chaos that would happen if tomorrow the names, addresses and photos of all known sex offenders were published.

maybe if they knew what lay ahead of them then people wouldnt do it in the 1st place?

    thats another possibility.

maybe cos they know if convicted they will be protected - this helps their decision to do it???

i understand what ur saying about possible chaos, but i still cant justify protecting them

Nasty horrible sick fuckers. The Justice system should allow the childs parents a coupla hours alone with the Peado. Then he'll not reoffend anymore like

The only thing i think is wrong with this is....people wont think and may do actions which could land them in jail or sumthing wen they r the innocent ones n only doing it because they have morals....does that make sense?

Ok...But seeing as the law isnt going to change and we aren't going to start burning sex offenders at the stake as routine punishment...WOULD THIS REGISTER HELP IN ANY WAY?

Thats what I'm getting at...is the anonymity to protect the public or the offender...I'm thinking more the public!

Fuck that, it's a mental disorder, they should be treated and helped. Most sex offenders volunteer for chemical castration, because they do not want the terrible affliction they were born with, but they are not strong enough to resist it.

The hardcore few who are really evil people as well and who are not dischordant with the disease are truly monsters, and deserve life imprisonment without parole for 30+ years real time (not good behaviour counting for 2 days etc.) Hard to tell the difference though. I say enforced chemical castration for all repeat sex offenders.

Why all the right wing views on criminals on this board ( and in fact, in the world at large? All I ever see these days.
