Right, I need everyones opinion!!!

I've just bought a pair of sandal style footwear to wear when I go to Thaliand. Basically, I needed something that wasn't shoes/trainers and wasn't flip flops so these seem to fit the bill quite well! They aren't jesus style sandals or anything but since I bought them I've had nothing but grief from people.

So, is it alright for a bloke to wear sandals in a really really hot country? Vote accordingly! It ain't gonna make a difference and I'm still gonna wear them but I just thought I'd see what everyone else thought!

I really dont like blokes sandals. Stephen bought some for his hols, but luckily got sick of em b4 I got there

If they suit what you need em for, then who cares what ppl think? As long as you dont mind em.

My sandals don't actually look like that, I tried a pair on like that and I looked silly. The pair I bought just have one large piece of leater over the top.

i wont touch ppls feet at college (well try my best not to) and only bring in people with nice feet in to practice on

I think I know the type you mean....they will be the best thing you ever bought.

I lived in mine when i was living in india...seriously you need something that is NOT trainers (they rot and stink within 40 mins of arriving) and something that you can walk far in. I was advised by the charity that i was working for to take trainers and frikkin hiking boots...never have i been so glad that i dont listen to a word anyone ever says!

I loved my sandals...I actually nearly cried when i had to dump them in bombay airport on the way home cus my bag was too heavy and i already had to pay hundreds for extra baggage!
