    Newcastle Comedy Festival

After its demise in 2000, this years Newcastle Comedy Festival is back. It's running from 1-10 October at Exhibition Park, in a geet big tent or two, hosting comics such as Al Murray, Jimmy Carr, Mark Thomas and Ross Noble!

How much are the tickets? Tried to find out, but can't be bothered to look properly. Anyone have any idea?

I strongly recommend Boothby Graffoe. Absolute genius, his sketches are completely surreal and his songs have to be heard

Is it just one act at a time? Do they not have a night with a few on at a time? £14 is not cheap, seeing as it's in a tent aswell!

Just been checking out prices  , they're a joke themselves! £20 for Ross Noble! I paid £16 to see him at the Theatre Royal a few months ago. He was well funny!

£20 for Noble is well worth it. Want to see Al Murray and Ed Byrne too.
