I've had laser eye surgery Had it done yesterday! Shit me! Does all of this stuff really go on around me?!?! I feel great yet I'm not used to living my life this way. Kinda well adapted to being crap sighted! Would totally recommend it although it knacks (and I mean REALLY knacks!) when they suck your f***in eyeball forward. You don't notice the laser or the cutting of the corneal flap but that damn suction thing, OUCHY!!
Ive heard gud stuff bout this like. Not that I need it. Certainly dont like the sound of this eye ball sucking :spangled:
Well..... I needed the expensive treatment so it cost £2500 (us students always find money somewhere). It all depends on what problems you have. If it's just a focus problem you have then it's a lot cheaper. It's also a lot cheaper if you have an unqualified surgeon. It's not an area where you should look to save money coz at the end of the day it's your eyesight these guys are playing with. I went for reputation over cost and used Ultralase. I had a check up this morning and apparently I've 20/50 vision, which is better than 20/20. I was gobsmacked when I read the bottom line of the letters chart. Yesterday I could only read the top line.
Does it last though? I mean, will you ever have to go back for the same treatment later on to correct any more problems? My eyes are deteriorating fairly quickly. Its not something I've thought about much simply because of the cost, but if it was the case that the treatment corrected my eyesight permanently, or at least for a good period of time, then I'd definitely think about it.
Re: I've had laser eye surgery it so doesn't hurt you wuss! it feels uncomfortable but not pain... well mine didn't anyways! get used to feeling guilty an like you're not looking after your eyes now when you jus get up an they work fine in the morning! also when bouncers say you look fucked you can jus say "i've had laser eye surgery so my pupils have an artificially high intraoccular pressure... thus making them look larger" complete bullshit but most bouncers will have got confused by the time you've said "laser eye surgery" lol
Im looking into this at the mo , tried contact lenses - no good , but my eyes have a condition called astigmatism so i wasnt sure if this was possible to correct be laser surgery , but having recently looked into it im assured it can be , bet the cost is more for me tho ...fidds...:groovy:
sure you pressed the submit button enough times there Ruth Terry - Did you fork out all that cash just for the purpose of not having to wear glasses?
I don't like the sound of that eyeball sucking malarky.....on the other hand my eyes are fooked too - too much masturbation no doubt
