My boss is a complete c**t This morning i missed the England game due to the fact that my boss is a total twat. In fact he is not even the boss, he was just the duty manager till the real boss got there at 9am. He just thinks he is important all of a sudden and goes on complete power trips. Basically i work at Safeways and was supposed to work 700-1030 which meant i was to miss the game. So i thought i would come in at 6am and get all the bread sorted then go and watch at least one half of the match. Someone else came in at 430am when he was supposed to start at 630 and grafted his bollocks off so that he would be allowed to watch the whole match. Then the prick of a boss arrives at 700 and sees all the shelves are full up and looking fairly good and says to us "did yous come in and start early so you could see the match? - well your not watching it". What a c**t? He wouldnt even let us have the TV on in the canteen so we could watch a little bit of the match while on our breaks. The bakers were listening to the match on a radio in the bakery and as soon as thew shop opened at 8am, the twat goes and convescates their radio. All the staff were well pissed off. Me and another lad went to the pub next door and watched 15 mins of the second half while on our break. The lad who came in at 430 just went off to the pub anyway and watched the whole of the second hald and got a bollocking for it later. The whole thing was totally pointless as we honestly must have never had more than 3 or 4 customers in the shop while the match was in progress, it was completely dead. Just wondering if anyone else has suffered at all during this world cup from such archaic management?
to be fair to managers... hold up a sec... let me rephrase that.... yes you are right mate all managers are cunts!!!! we wanted to open up a few hours late last sunday so we could watch the sweden game but our manager said we couldnt so in the end we just closed up anyway and went to the pub as he wasnt there. He found out about it and said he didnt mind, but there wasnt a lot he could do by then!!!!!! ce la vie!

My boss has decided to put me in to work 10am til 7pm this saturday.....Somehow I feel she will be receiving a phone call off me soon telling her otherwise
Aye i was back in later for me second shift of the day. Ive been getting loads of bloody annoying split shifts lately. Id have thought id be over it by 6 like, but then i was pretty pissed off. No such problems today though, because after working 21 days in a row, i had the whole day off! :grin: I think i will. Especially as he had right go at me yesterday as well for forgetting to sign something. I had aright go back as well, which was fun.
We suggested to our boss that if we started an hour early and worked thru our morning break - could we watch the England Argentina game?? His answer : NO Reason : Nowt So u arent the only one with a miserable tosspiece for a boss.
Please! Though im leaving that job in about 2 months time so maybe i can use it then as a parting gift. I might get sacked if i did it now and then id have no money. Still be worth it like.
I would also like to add my bosses name to this list as he will not let me have friday off because i want the weekend off as well. Personally i hope he gets run over by a bus then i will just take it of anyway.
