As bad as it sounds, without a spiritual leader to stir up sentiment .... it might be a good thing if he passes away, and not because of assasination or other forceful methods. The person who steps up to replace him will be crucial of course.

it wont mkae much difference as long as sharon is in power and beeing funded by the americans. They will still fight for what they think is right and aslong as the israleis continue to kill civilians in gazza etc they will fight back.
