I've been caught twice now and have given up chancing it.

The first time was the worst as I tried to run down the platform to escape, but I didnt read the exit signs right and ended up getting to the end of the platform, then having to walk back to the exit where they were blocking it off. Never felt such a :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

Tbh if you travel on the metro a lot and never pay your going to save money the amount of times you'll get a £10 fine!

Raising the fine will definatley reduce 'pikey fare dodgers'

Just you all keep doing it...

It will catch up on you, and they will get you eventually.

Then one day, you will get a letter off them, telling you your court date.

Then I will see your name on the LOSER LIST from the comfort of my seat on the metro, with my pass in my wallet.

And I will laugh my arse off

The funny thing is, its partly due to fare dodgers that they have to pay their staff less....resulting in less trains, making people late.

And then your dodging bastards STILL moan when the train is late

Don't act all nice you! Trying to act like you've always been an angel on the Metro!

Some of us remember the time that you WALKED ACROSS THE LEVEL CROSSING INFRONT OF THE TRAIN....then casually got ON the train, and then refused to get off when the driver told you to!

Don't deny it, you used to be just as bad as the others!

    ;)

I was only joking anyway :p

PS - The train was still miles away,I could have walked over the crossing 5 times and still been safe! I did get off though. He was just being a twat for the sake of it. People do worse every day and get away with i!

I got caught not buying a ticket once.

    I felt so ashamed.

Even the Asylum Seekers where giving me disapproving looks.

I was lucky, I was allowed to pay on the spot.

Ill never jump the metro again though!

I've been collared once as well - felt like trash!!!

Thing is it was THEIR fault!!!!!!!

I was at Hewoth, with only 4 x £10 notes in my pocket. No change machines! All the inspectors were stud on platform waitin for metro. So I asked one of em, can I get on and buy my RETURN ticket at central? Explained cos I had no change.

As If I wud be daft enuff to get on without a ticket with the inspectors!!! And intend not to pay...

Anyway, jus set off from heworth, the bird that said it was ok was on a diff carrige, bloke came up asked me for ticket, i explained the crack.

Stopped metro at next stop, fellgate, fined me!!!! Bastards!!!!!!

Can't believe people have the cheek to slag chavs and pikeys and then juke the metro. Fuck sake it's a couple of quid that keeps the service so good and helps keep it safe.

Lots of couple of quids add up to loads of money though mate.

The problem is, the deterrants arn't severe enough, as others have mentioned, even if they get a few fines, they are still hugely better off.

They need to take harsher actions.

I was on a train a while ago and one of the carriages literally filled with choking foul smoke

i got off straight away...some people just stayed there...and the train carried on with smoke pouring out the windows!! was bad crack, I thought it was on fire

    not exactly safe :p
