Air -Birmingham Hello people Just got back from Birmingham, went to air in Birmingham for poly sexual vs Riot recordings, it was mint, excellent sound system and lighting etc. The music was hard trance/dance - really good. You could actually see the djs and what they were doing, they also announced everytime a dj started there set. I know foundation is amazin, but it seems there is so much else to do in other clubs. This one had a record shop, a place to get photos done and a something where you buy vodka flavoured oxygen and herbal highs! mad!!!!
There was a canny bit of decor hanging off the ceiling etc. It was rather expensive though. £2.90 for bottle of water!
I like it, been down a couple of times now for Armin's monthly residency. No announcing of the DJ's in the Oxygen arena just the usual names on the video monitors. Hopefully heading back down around March
I know, bit strange really, i stayed away from all of it. 1 . i dont fancy a shot of vodka flavoured oxygen (weird if ya ask me) 2. i certainly did not want to see the state i looked come 3am so no point in photo. 3. I would not want to be carrying, cds, vinyl etc round the club, cos i would prob loose them! Just thought it strange how other places have stuff like this but foundaion doesnt.
I wanna go down again for gods kitchen. I missed that as wanted to go out on the Sat night and i can no longer handle 2 nights out in a row!
It's usually £2 which is still a rip off. Plus i don't like the fact that u can't fill up your water bottle from anywhere. It is a pretty mint club generally tho. First proper club I ever went to, so got a soft spot for it. Never tried those oxygen thingies but heard they're crap Also never heard DJs names announced but prob cos I'm generally gormless and usually a bit wasted there! Air- my 2nd fave club ever
is the best venue in the uk in my opinion sound system is mint the nights they host there always full 3 rooms to choose from and every night is frendley to wards what ever you wear air
nah should be ok man havent been out for ages so will be good hopefully not about the music it willl be about having a laugh tall paul is ok like for a trance dj and he is playing a classic's set but ill be spending most off my night in breaks room are funky room
When it was code it was the best club in england IMO, but I've not been to the updated air, but it looks mint on the pictures. It's probably why it's the only club in the north still going strong.
