We know most peeps from the board went to the boat on NYD, but we'd been the year before n fancied a change........so we went to Leeds!

Although we both love trance.....we really enjoy hard house aswell.....altho we know its not everyones cup of tea.

Mainly a hard house line up.......with all the DJ's playin crackin sets.....favourites bein Mark EG (total nutter-smashin vinyl over his head!!!), Eddie Halliwell and Alex Kidd !

Finished off the nite at 3am on a 'trancier' note with Rob Tissera ! He played a blinding hard trance set........including some well known classics!

Every DJ was more than willing to sign autographs n have pics taken at the end of their sets......some of them even joining the crowd for a dance n a chat !

Ellielou decided in her infinite wisdom......that she'd get all the DJ's autographs. However, she didnt get them on paper like any normal person......no no no.......she got all the DJ's to sign her arms!!!! Still hasnt washed them off yet !!!! LOL LOL LOL

Met some gr8 peeps.....n spent the nite with a few promise regulars! Hi to Dominic X n his g/f....gaz...andrea....eddie....david!

We both hope u all had a crackin new year !

See you all at the next promise !

Who did the best set on the boat?

    Jam'e'tron n Ellielou x :cyber:

im not getting huffy mate i dont do huffy, think you must have been tripping like , as both rooms had the same type of crowds either that or you had your eyes closed whilst in the trance room cause the dance floor in there had charvas all over it chanting eddie ,eddie, eddie , etc

Sound's like a canny Gig at Leeds like, glad you enjoyed it mate!:)

I thought the crowd in the HH had less charvas in tbh. But tbf most people were wandering all night anyways, and not just staying in the same places, si it's pretty unjust to say that the HH had all the munters in there!

The hard house room fucking stunk towards the middle. Wouldn't be suprised if a few people were sick there.

The pikeys weren't exactly exclusive to that room though, they were all over the place.

I thought it was a cracking night in Leeds.

For me it was a pity Halliwell wasn't on earlier because I really couldn't be bothered with 90 minutes of random trance and hard trance from him after 7 hours of hard as fuck tunes. Thought he should have been on early there then later for the trancey lot at the boat

Thought Mark EG was OK but again a little to random. One minute it was hardstyle with what sounded like sound effects from a game like Resident Evil, then something far softer with a lass singing.

All the usual suspects (Savage, Glazby, Farley and Charlotte Birch) were class though and were having a good crack with the crowd whilst they were DJing, sometimes posing for photos too.

The night reminded me a lot of Sundissential North when it was at Evolution. The Leeds crowd are frantic at hard house events! Plus the floor was so sticky that if you stood still for five minutes then tried to walk away you would be forgiven for thinking you had grown roots!

The bouncers must have had high precision night vision equipment; I have never seen so many people evicted from a club for taking drugs. That said they all seemed really sound and perhaps the bouncers at Foundation could learn from them!

I went last year to the boat and every photo from it I am a pure beetroot colour! I think last year it was because they turned the water off in the toilets to stop people from filling their bottles up with water, even though they had run out of water to sell!
