Booze Free I have just gone a whole weekend without touching a single drop of alcohol in what must be the first time in close to 10 years. All i can say is, il not be doing that again in a hurry! Decided i was having two weeks completely off it from the beginning of the year. Dont really know why tbh. :spangled: So one weekend was all it needed really. The weekdays im not arsed about. Definately back on the booze this Fri! Anyone else abstaining for short period at the moment?

Re: Booze Free I'm tempted to try, but that would pretty much involve staying in because drunk people bore me if I'm not pissed as well. I was out with my sister and her friends last night and tried not to drink too much but ended up bored out of my skull while everyone else had a brilliant night.
Re: Booze Free Most of the time! I only really drink when I'm going out....binge drinking is the way forward man Currently the last time I had a drop of alcohol was New Years Day! And next time will probably be next Sunday/Monday
I was gonna say, i regularly have four cans of Kronenburg/stella/grolsch a night but drinking 8 cans :shock:
I havent touched a drop since tuesday, and wont untill Friday when i go to Le Shack to See Hardwick I may even be tempted to stay sober on friday too

Same here! No alcohol in January for me! Bloody killing me though! Went out with Derek on Friday night & was clamming for a pint in the second bar! Roll on 1st Feb! May have to book the 2nd off work... just in case!
