Admittedly nowt much decent over the last few months, but I'm keeping hold of mine to play the new Zelda...

the monkey island series is mint, some of the subtle humour in the new ones is quality

things like that are best left in the past i find. they're never as good and they spoil your memory!

i've got one of the new prince of persia games and it has the old one on it as a cheat, i played it cos i used to love it when i was little but it just wasn't the same!

it's the same with old cartoons too. i recently watched an episode of thundercats for the first time since i was nippa and it was crap, and i used to love it!

Money Island 3 was class.

Monkey island is the bollox

I can't get used to those two. I've completed both, but they're nowhere near as good as the earlier ones.

Speaking of old good games.. I'm having a shot on Wolf 3D and Commander Keen when I get home.

I know i've got Monkey Island 1 and 2 on a cd somewhere, and 4 is in a case on the shelf above me...but i'm not sure about 3.

I know i've finished it, I played it when i was about 16 but can't remeber ever owning it I really want to play it now...would be better than this constant solitaire playing i'm doing at the moment.

right im stuck on it lol can someone help me? How do i poison them stinking dogs on monkey island one? im guessing u need to poison the ham shank but HOW! that barrel doesnt work!!. (i need to get out more )

As you go into the woods, there are some yellow flowers, pick them, use them with the ham shank and tada! Sleeping puppies.

where abouts is the woods ? im quite stuck at the min....im right at the start

i have the first two still. they came on floppy disk back then and had this crazy copy protection rotating circle thing!

classic games, don't think i've played any of the newer ones though.

Just wander around randomly and you will come to the yellow flowers.

I have to confess, I did complete the game once by myself (took years though) but now I use a walkthrough.
