Ok, I need the boards help.

Im doing my dissertation at Uni. Im basically redesigning the whole North East Gig Guide website. I'm also changing its name to something a little more relevant.

What I need is some data from my target audience .i.e you lot. So I would be really grateful if people could take a minute to fill in a questionnaire for me. The website is going to be built with what local clubbers want.

Can everyone please just leave their email addresses in this thread. I will then send the questionnaire by email. If you prefer not to leave your email then please send me a private message with it.

I did a lot of research for my dissertation on this 'ere board, very helpful they all were too, even got the a suggestion for titles of chapters and overall title which worked really well.

Got a 2:1 so everyone's help def paid off. You have my email already so count me in and remember there is life after your dissertation, just not during LOL

what course are you doing? you need to be careful doing website re-designs if you are doing a computing course, as its often seen as far to simple. but im sure you probably already know this....

Im doing Business I.T mate.

Its more of a new website than a redesign I guess. Some of the features will be taken over to the new one, but its gonna have a total new look, feel and name.

Any advice is always appreciated though mate.

ahhh...cool. It may be different then. I did Multimedia Computing, finished Last year. We werent allowed to do web-site builds/redesigns unless they incorperated a pretty hefty back end, and lots of J2E, SQL, or very complex php, as they were seen as too simple otherwise...

I did a Multimedia CD ROM aimed at raising disability aewareness. It emulated different sensory disabilities by applying effects to sound and video using lots of Director Trickery. Worked out pretty well actually (i got a first...). If you need any advice just ask..
