    is foundation always hot?

    me mate says foundation is always red hot...i,ve only been to promise for matts 5 hour set and i thought it was ok...

    is it usually really hot?

    When its at capacity it can be hot - sweat dripping off ceiling. But normally its fine

    I'm not sure its actually sweat...probably just condensation.

    Still it is pretty icky. You spend most of the night trying your hardest not to touch any strangers as to not get covered in their sweat.

    Used to love gigs there when it was The Riverside, would get absolutely drenched in sweat - it literally poured from the ceiling :D

    that last comment is so true! last ever shindig at the riverside was unreal , not like the metallic shell with no soul that exists now. People would stay if the atmosphere was electric, it must fade after 2am when the m&ms wear off and all the beer boys have left by 1am

    I remember last year when Lisa Lashes and Anne Savage played it was VERY hot, the place was soaking. It varies really, sometimes ive been freezing others far too hot.

    I was at that,I was absolutely soaking when I came out. I know people associate a really hot club with meaning there's an up for it atmosphere but I don't like it when its too hot. You end up just standing around desperately trying to cool down

    In my serious clubbing days I used to go home and get a shower before going to an after party, or take a bag of clothes and a towel, and shower wherever I ended up.

    It is truly vile sitting around in soggy clothes for hours after clubbing!
