Agreed, it wasn't even funnily bad. He has done some pretty shite movies, but his good ones... eg The Thing - one of the greatest movies of all time

the original was pretty good, but it was one of those random movies!! where as the story line was like why the fuck did that just happen!
i've heard good stuff about it - big hollywood remark but it's meant to be class - i really wanna see it. Original is still awesome
Let's hope it has lots of mindless gore then, would make a much more interesting version eg, At the end Derek appears randomly with a chainsaw, jumps out of a plane, goes straight through Kong and out his arse.
