I think that one has rights to the name Promise, ours PromiseAlways. I'm sure there is a way to check online, apart from Mark telling us.

I hope they are. How often were they on, it wasn't a weekly thing was it? It seemed to be doing quite well from what I heard.

they were monthly last year, they had some quality line ups but not sure how busy they were, never got round to going :(

on the website now theres only mention of the birmingham night, which has a much more diverse music policy (theyve just booked leeroy thornhill ex prodigy!!) and that nights running weekly, and the msg boards not working either or would have asked on there about the sheffield night.

will be a shame if theyre not doing them anymore like, had some quality line ups, gabriel & dresden, leama & moor, way out west ect. ill ask on the matt board and find out the crack

Yeah it would be wicked but unfortunately Newcastle is way behind most of the country in terms of clubbing... :(

I'm sure newcastle was raited one of the best towns in europe for clubbing sometime in 2002.. was defo within the top 30.. Maybe it was jut for the amount of clubs or something with no regard to the shit holes that some of them are or the absolute twats who occupy them... or maybe it is a really good clubbing town and we are all just simple minded monkeys that haven't learnt to adapt to new and varied types of music :monkey:
