police i was pulled over in town before, i got stuck in a place which had a sign sayin no cars, but i was stuck and couldnt find a way to get out so i just carried on driving, and the blokey pulled me over (after a bit like, i was trying to get out of his way i didnt think he was going to pull ME over!) he said he would give me a letter of advice, but said all the "you do not have to say anything if you do not mention when questioned" malarky. does it really mean ill get a letter saying 'tut tut'? did i get arrrested? what happened? i could hardly speak i was so scared. he asked me if i was ok and i told him im frightened of the police lol. and when i 'tried to' pull away i forgot the car wasnt in gear so i nearly rolled back into him. im sooooooooooooo scared of police, i would rather ask a masked gunman for directions
its a bit like an irrational fear of spiders. an irrational fear of the police. i think i have only just calmed down now like. but what does a letter mean? nowt?
Yep, the letter means fcuk all, trust me, i have been pulled over shitloads, even if he gave u a producer it just means they want to make sure everyhing is ok with ur licence and the car, they always have to caution u when they stop u to cover there own backs from a legal standpoint, cos if they didnt and they did arrest you then they can get done for it dont worry u aint done owt wrong
Exactly the same happend to me, I got the letter saying I had contravened road traffic law blah blah blah and thats about it, the cop also done the whole 'whatever you say etc'. Dont worry about it
i did this in town, the ikon exit.. 'no cars' - a van was on the roundabout taking down number plates for everyone coming out of it (it was rush hour too!) - i never received a letter or anything though..
i got pulled over for tailgating (even tho i wasn't) outside my own house, i had to go inside and get my licence then drive onto my drive, what a fanny on
