Takes the piss Being charged £1.50 to get your own money out of a cashpoint   Sorry for the random thread but its beginning to piss me right off
Re: Takes the piss So who should pay for that machine to be there? For the electricity, for the maintenance, for the restocking? Seems fair enough to me.
Re: Re: Takes the piss the same people who have paid for it until they started charging, fair dos if the bank charges werent as high as they are, plus it started at a pound per withdrawl, now some machines are upto two pound, why??
Re: Re: Re: Takes the piss I don't get the point, you don't have to use it, just go to get your money from the bank in the day if you don't want to pay for the service.
All the normal ones dont. Proper holes in walls an that. Its just the ones in bars, supermarkets etc.
I don't like them charging to get yourown money out but then it's only the ones in bars etc that charge so you shouldn't be lazy and go to a hole in the wall where it's free
but aren't they planning on making a lot more of the cashpoints like that? Not sure if it including proper cash points like barclays etc tho.. I dont see why u should have to pay to get ur money out either tho.. fair enough if its in a bar etc but its still steep. 50p would be ok but up to £2 takes the piss a little. I never seen any maintenance that requires £2 per users worth of work
Re: Re: Re: Re: Takes the piss yes its your money but the machines have to be run by a 3rd party company, why bother if they make no money... if banks put cash machines in pubs they would be free but why would they bother ??? Your paying for a service
