Ive picked Ferry Corsten, because the last time i saw him he was absolutely amazing. Although i havent seen Armin, but i really want to because he always gets good reviews off people on here!
id have to say pvd my fav dj love his productions and as a dj. ferry a mint producer but not keen on his sets all that much. oakey is proberly the buggest trance djs ever total legend. and armin well hes just armin if just want trance hes your man tbf.
Van dyk allday, should have been crowned no.1 last year and missed out to that joke tiesto. armins gonna be the one to watch though, he'll be no.1 in the next couple of years definetley and he's got time on his side.
He's mint mate I use to be a massive Tiesto fan, but after Armarda in ibiza in last year, then trance energy and the shack this year Tiesto now takes up second spot!!
I have pic Ferry coz ov some the tunes he has produced he sets are ok sum them i have heard was really hard 2 pic Coz with out PVD n Oakey a Legends have grace the Dj decks n Armin's just Armin .... he class got a lot years left in him yet .. with out gunna be legendy Dj in years 2 cum
pvd by a country mile, no other trance dj can play like he does, when hes on his game he can control the crowd ferry has had some of the best productions ever, exhales probably my favourite tune of all time, but as a dj hes never really impressed me, only good time was at global but tbh that was just a set of his tunes lol armins had a good year, we'll see how he goes, as for oakey hes an absolute legend but unfortunately nowadays just by looking at his gig section it shows he isnt into it as much as he used to be, i havnt seen him tho so i cant judge
The tunes were spot on but mixing was wank...he still played the most go off it set of the night though Armin best and most consistent trance dj at the mo
tbh i wasnt paying attention i was shattered and just wanted to go to sleep lol id say armins the most consistent at the moment, but imo you cant compare him to pvd whos been consistent for years now, armins just managed to shake off his van boring name
I think last year PVD went downhill alot...he was number 1 from about 1999-2002 but he hasnt got it anymore...and final scratch does him no favours
nah he'll still wipe the floor with any trance dj, his music has some balls to it, theres nothing better than hearing a pvd offbeat bassline shake the club floor
in 2003 he still blasted loads of trance but moved to slightly more techy near the end, last year he was just nailz but still good imo, but from what ive heard hes moving back to playing trancy
