    I got told this is going to happen sometime during May. Is this the troof?

    Its going up to £5.05 in October i think ?

    I would hate to be paid that little. :( Some people dont even get that. I didnt think that could happen :confused: but Ive seen it at work a fair few times. :down:

    Don't have a single qualification worth shouting about but i'm on a hell of a lot more than that.

    :lol: :lol: I believe its easy to gain a job that pays more than £5/hour even a bricklayer can earn £10+ People are just lazy

    Minimum wage increases seem to only be pushing up inflation from what i see...

    Having said that, about 7 years ago i was on 2.80 an hour working at dixons... shocking.

    u dont jus become qualified you know,,,,,u gotta serve ur time and while ur serving it u get paid whatever ur gaffer says m8. Its called graft an its owt but lazy!!!!!

    Yeah but if your going to be a bricklayer getting £10 an hour then you have to do a few years qualifying time and courses where your gaffa decides your wages.

    Therefore you dont have a choice if he pays you minimum wage and your on it for 2-3 years.
