but what does that have to do with politics now, and the bnp apparently lying less that the major parties... i see no link whatsoever and think dan's original statement is nothing more than a pile of wank.

so basically you're saying we pushed argentina's hand by weakening our forces in the area. thats not a lie, if anything its cynical and, in some ways, a clever way of keeping a high profile. and im sure only an ardent conspiracy theorist would believe that we made argentina invade the falklands by some bizarre election winning plot... rubbish, they knew what they were doing when they invaded, regardless of our strength in the area.

every party has hidden skeletons... it hardly adds up to a blanket of complete lies. no democrtic country would allow a party to lie constantly through its term... most of the population are not idiots. i would like a source for this too because im intrigued to find out more

as i said in my last post, this has nothing to do with what dans post insinuated.

prove it. you are just regurgitating paranoid crap you have heard. at least give me a credible source before talking crap.

i dont care who you support. if you want to vote bnp, labour etc thats your perogative. we all knew people who went to iraq and we were all worried for them but thats irrelevant. we went to war because of intelligence reports that it looks like now were inaccurate. it is conceivable that tony blair thought the intellegance was correct when we went to war which does not make him a liar. however there will always be the doubt (in my mind anyway) that the dossier was "sexed up" and that oil may have played a part. dont get me wrong... i didnt like the reasons for war... if we had gone to free an oppressed people it would have been a far more justified reason. still that doesnt mean that party politics is one whole series of lies and you have no evidence to say it is. yes lies have been told and politicians seem to be ***** at times... but it is us who elects these people ;)

Absolutely correct it didnt. You may have noticed I quoted you and not Dan?

Look up al-Yamamah arms contract. Not sure what will be on the net. Also bare in mind Britain's horrendous, exceptionally draconian libel laws and the papers that published the stories whilst you do.

For the record, I dont agree with what Dan was saying, but that doesnt make what he said wrong, or what you or I think right. We are all full of opinions.

you quoted my reply to dan, and i know im far from right sometimes, but i do try to base my opinions on some factual basis and im always open to new insights and expanding my knowledge :D will look that arms contract up... sounds like it may be of interest.

@dan... i never mentioned any arms deals when replying to you. but you're probs right that a lot of corruption is involved. i saw that documentary too and it does look suspicious. having said that tho, neither of us know enough about anyone involved to offer any worthwhile opinions ;)

    just noticed this point.

maybe people get pissed off on this subject because they should? racism, bigotism and ignorance are massive problems in this country and in if we really live in a civilised society then i think we should get past skin colour and other irrelevant issues.

LOL how can you possibly take the BNP seriously, they claim to be a newly moulded politcal party - yet their political broadcast only covered one policy... immigration... coincidence?

The BNP aren't a political party - they're white supremacists in not-so-fancy clothing.

In the seats they've won they've contributed nothing to the community...

How is calling a party of white supremacists a party of white supremacists a stupid outlook?!?!?!?

Have you ever met any BNP activists?

You asked why I was calling them activists I pointed out that members of their party of actively involved in activism (marches through racially tense areas, intimidation, etc.).
