Right, i THINK i'm after a NET MD player... can't really justify an iPod i'm too old and not cool enough, iRiver and Creative Zens' are also just out of budget - BUT with these new fancy hard disk MP3 players knocking around, it means the bottom has probably fallen out of the personal MD player market

so - anyone got any recommendations on an inexpensive but decent model?

This could be the perfect opportunity for you to go for the IPOD man, get a mini - more then enough space for a load of sets - think I got mine for around £130 at the apple shop - I could bring one up for ya if need be.

The tunes will come in well handy - I've taken to walking back along the canal route to Rodley then up into H'forth - a rockin after work 6m hyke - but not so rockin when yer listening to the same sets from lastyear.
