there was always loads when i lived in jesmond and that was 4 years ago.

several times during afters at my house i would look out the window and see a police van parked outside. i always thought i was going to get raided, it never materialised though, i think we just upset the neighbours with the music, once it was turned down the vans used to disappear.

ive noticed it too like shit loads on weekends......
    from Northumbria police website

Across Newcastle officers have identified a 'top ten' of locations and individuals to receive extra attention, specifically targeted at tackling disorderly behaviour.

Undercover officers and video cameras will be used to gather evidence and teams of officers are stepping up patrols in the drinking zones in the city centre and Jesmond areas.

Areas where large groups of youngsters gather to drink and cause disorder are also being targeted, particularly during the evenings.

    AT LEAST YOU AGREE!!!!

Iv just spoke to Gav about Spy Bar and he said the pigs have been in to say they want the Sayers and Conroys barred from the bar. They are perfectly behaved in the bar at all times so the bar manager told the pigs to fuck off... the pigs say they will "enforce" the barring. WTF can they do?? They cant barr who they dont like??!?! fucking facist scum

Whitley Bay is crawling with police too.

Pigs on the beat, on pedal bikes, motor bikes, horses, even meat wagons with CCTV on the back.

I've never seen police presence like it.

Is more coppers really a bad thing?!

There's always like 6 or so coppers down Bigg market for the entire night.

60??? I go there quite regular and can't say I've seen that many.

Only thing that does my fucking head in on Osbourne road is, the short fat fuck of a bouncer on Osbournes. Twice my mates have come up from South Wales, and twice he aint let us in there. Lucky not to get clipped last time.. fucking no mark!
