sl1210mk or sl120mk5 advice please

    Ok people, i need some advice. I'm going to buy some new decks, which do people prefer/like to use:

    sl1210 mk2
    or
    sl1210 mk5

    Comments please.

    Thery're basically the same mate except the mk5 has a pitch reset button (returns the speed of the pitch to neutral)
    other than that go for the cheepest :up:

    Mk5 has slightly stronger torque

    Mk5 has a clickless pitch which means you dont have that fucking annoying thing in the middle of the pitch control


    DEFINTELY go for mk5's

    I have mk2s and when i use me mates mk5s i can never get use to the pitch on them.

    Thanks for your advice everyone. Agree with you Hannah, all sparkly and shiny but I have gone with the mk5.

    I'm getting them of djfinancedirect.co.uk.
    Out of interest, has anyone else used these?

    mk5's im gonna be buying some soon, sounds shallow but theyre slightly darker than mk2's and im willing to pay that bit extra for me setup to look better lol

    Personally i find mixing on technics a total chore and if im playing out somewhere that has 2 or more cdj800/1000s i will do the whole set off CD

    30 Year Old techology for a 'futuristic' niche...i dont get it ;)
