Yep yep yep - I think either sex can be best mates! I ain't got one best mate but a few that I'd say were me best! Both male and female.

I dont have one specific best mate either. I have ones that i tend to hang out with the most but this mainly cos they are more convenient to see due to travelling and me not driving.

But all my friends are important to me male or female. Each friend has a different quality that i love.

Alot of my mates are girls (no im not gay) they ask my opnions about everything......and what i think on ceratin matters.
i can undestand lasses really well.

I would class me G/F as me best mate as well as bein the love of me life - get on so well and have loads of likes n dislikes that are the same so theres a recipe for success

I've got loads of male mates. For some reason, ive always had more male friends than female friends, and no offence to my female friends, but sometimes prefere to go out with my male friends. Ive also got a very good male friend, that also goes by the name of pilly phil!!
