    i got stopped in my car last saturday in shields and got proper busted they found a half oz of solids in my car {which was mine} and my mate had a half oz of weed so inevetably we were locked up.i had my car confiscated so the drug squad could look it over,then it came back as being in a previous crash so the regional motor vehicle crime squad had to check it to see if it was stolen or a ringer..{got it back yesturday}

    but to my suprise i wasnt tested for drugs.......

    i was later released with a caution for possesion {weh hey} but how i got away with drug driving is beyond me..

    what a night that was...

    a valuable lesson was learnt there me thinks......

    dont put ya dope in your centre console..........lol:D

    I think its absolutely disgusting the amount of people who have said they have drug driven.and the ones who have said they wouldnt dream of drink driving but have done drug driving, how you can say that is beyond me tbh. yeah different things affect people in different ways but jsut because you feel alright doesnt mean that you are ok to drive. if a member of your family or child was killed in an accident invoving a drunk or drug driver you'd be devastated. some people are a danger to society to say they have done this :rolleyes:

    I've done it ONCE realised it was ridiculously stupid and would never do it again. Hardly think I'm a danger to society :rolleyes:

    drink driving and drug driving are bang out of order like,
    why should some poor fucka or family suffer in an accident(if there was one) just because you wanted to get pissed or off ya head no need for it like, thing is you see loadsa people parked up in pub carparks then coming out of the pub and hopping straight
    in to there car :rolleyes: can't tell me they've only stuck to just one drink or whatever the legal amount of units is

    We can't all be perfect. Yeah it was a stupid thing to do but at least I realised that and wouldnt ever do it again. I hardly think that making a mistake once and learning from it makes me a danger to society.

    It is a good thing that you learnt not to do it again, im just saying that even though it was only once it couldve killed someone, its just the same as drink driving and that once that you did it you were a danger to society, im not saying you are all the time just the time when you were behind the wheel :)

    and my no means am i saying that im perfect

    As much as I agree with all your points you don't see many families out for a quie tdrive in the early hours of a saturday night post clubbing. The roads are empty and I think that's why people take the risk.

    I have never done it but have took a lift many a time when younger.

    What scares me is, what if you've had a smoke the night before and come up positive the next night when you're actually sober but the swabs detect it? it stays in your system long enough.

    does it work like that?

    they wouldn't put a limit on it either, they'd just come back and say 'you shouldn't have taken drugs in the first place, they aren't even legal'.

    bit of a fuck up if you have about 4 million people taking ecstacy alone every weekend, fuck knows what the weed statistics would be.
