never, oh dear..... ive flyered day and night aswell. think some serious heads togetherness and brain storming is needed to save foundation! i think maybe some hed-kandi style night, a techno night and maybe some other ideas would be good...
ive said it before and ill say it again they need some fresh blood within the management/promotions team with fresh ideas and fresh angles on how to fill the venue.at the minute they are just flogging a dead horse in my opinion there are plenty nights that arent "cool" that would fill the venue
Like what???? 2 1300+ capacity venues in a city the size of Newcastle is always going to be tough competition Digital is going through the honeymoon period where everyone wants to go......Foundation should do more live gigs imo rather than focusing on club nights
Cardiff - first Sundissential party there in four years, 2500. ALL they are into in Cardiff is shitty hard style ... we have none of that at SS yet they all came flocking. Birmingham - Tickets went on sale for their next event there and all the early bird tickets sold out before the line up was even announced.
The genres that are being played there at the mo dont seem to be doing overly well by the sounds of things ....
You have to promote the arse off everything these days, no matter how big a following an event has got. I cant wait for the scene to come back round and be going right off again. Its well over due now!!!
As it used to be???? How old are you!!! You have to remember that Ard As the Hills is about 38 so kinows more than any of us ever will
all of the Habit parties have been rammed so far.... Maybe if the big nights actually put more effort into their line ups and not just have the same old people playing the same old records then they might be busier
