    That would be the perfect way to do it IMO. It would certainly encourage smaller names to have a go.

    I tend to play b2b with a mate, all we've been able to do so far is small nights in consett on an ad-hoc basis, because we don't have the money to get somewhere bigger and we don't have any experience with promoting a night on a serious level - we would defo go halfies with someone on costs and promotion if they wanted a room...

    You're right about established nights and the "too many cooks" syndrome, unless the promoters know each other well and get on, it wouldn't work out.

    Look at "Battle of the nights" a year or so back: Smile, StoneLove, Shindig, Promise.... all on the same night.

    That worked really well and its never been done since - why can't it be done with smaller nights cramming in together?
