I've just finished watching season 4 of 24 and i must say it's one of the best things I've ever watched. I really enjoyed every minute of it. I can't wait for season 5.

However, I haven't seen any of the previous seasons apart from bits and pieces of series 1, but that was with weekly breaks in between at least. I was just wondering if the other 3 seasons are as good as number 4.

A series from TV really is much much better without ads and weekly gaps

I haven't seen any on tv, only watched the DVD, but I imagine the ads spoil the atmosphere a bit, besides don't know if I could wait a week to see the next episode.

What are the other 3 like in comparison to 4?

1 is as good as 4 in my opinion, but it's evolved since then, so after seeing 4 it might not be as good, 2 is great too, 3 isn't quite as good as the others, about 8 hours of it is pointless and just for the sake of filling 24, it's still good though, just not up to the standard of the others.

Most of the people in 1 are dead now. I'm glad I watched it in order like, I've got 1 if you want to borrow it.

I might just order them all of ebay depending on costs... otherwise i'll download them first I also need to buy Lost off ebay so i reckon the download option will come into play until I get enough money. Wouldn't mind Teachers either!

What hour does season 4 start at? It's on sky loads but I dont watch it cos it does say like 1/24 it just says the time

Season 1 and 2 are the best! I watched season 1 in two days! Season 3 is alright and so is Season 4, they weren't the best tho. I think thats partly because Sky got it off the BBC and the ads spoiled it a bit. Its the same when I try to rewatch Lost on C4. Grrrr...

Its a shame you didnt watch them in order because you wudda understood the background story better but you definately need to watch them! 24 rules!

Btw, season 4 starts at 7. I think its AM but can't remember.

24 is great.. just hoping that they don't mess it up with season 5.

I think theyve got progressively better with no exceptions. I'm currently three quarters through season 4 so i'm so glad i went and read this thread

couldnt get into it at all when it was just on the tele either.

Season 4 was the worst series which goes to show the 1st 3 are superb
