What rubbish. I dont believe any of them contribute to a great atmosphere. Its more appropriate for the Bigg Market or a godam hill billy cattle ranch

Your wrong. Clubbing without the odd shout, clap, bounce & woop would be bland.

The best nights I have been too are when DJ's manage to get the whole crowd in that zone. Deep Dish managed it at there first visit to Foundation at the place went right off.

I know that, I also think "the here we fucking goes" of this world are annoying but in general without any of the shouting, clapping etc... would make it dull.

    I think were agreeing

    HA HA HA

That was me who started that, we did it for a laugh and it took off big time....we went to various other eddie nights and random chanting for eddie was carried out while the previous dj was on.........

was funny at the time anyway, and besides everyone joined in so everyone else must have found it funny too

I've chewed the side of my mouth off to the beat of a few tunes :)

    I hate the "whhoooo....whhooo...............whhoooo...whoooo"
    chants :(

People were chanting and signing in the que at the arena, irrating is not the word....that sort of shouting should be left at the football ground

As for the eddie chanting at promise etc....i suppose thats ok, however, the thick person that i am, though i was at a gerry springer shower...i thought people were shouting JERRY JERRY JERRY... very confusing

This was a long while ago...i may add :D

Followed by putting your arm round the stranger next to you, shouting in his ear and jumping as high as you can for the remainder of the tune

The crowd making a lot of noise makes the atmosphere in a club. You know the crowd's not very up for it when there's a breakdown in the music and there's silence
