I get what your saying but its different really....I duno what people mean by it depends what they wear...do you mean things such as a thong and a bra or just something like a skirt and a top? I don't know what extent people mean it to?

I'm not sure either, but when the story was on the news every channel showed the same clip of a group of girls walking up some bigg-market-esque street wearing mini skirts, boob tubes, high heels, thongs hanging out etc.

Ha! I'm not an ugly bloke though, so the girls gain credibility not lose pride!

mugging is a crime, rape is a crime. Anyone who commits a crime is a criminal, not the person who ends up being a victim. To be honest you arent going to walk about with a wallet sticking out your pocket are you? same way as you wouldnt walk around with a sign sayin please rape me, because its up to a woman how she dresses, what she drinks etc, its just also up to a woman that she remains safe, and not stumbling home in the dark alone - if she is responsible enough to drink, she must be responsible enough to get herself home/not get into any compromising or dangerous situations.

This is where some of the problem is however, people not responsible enough to look after themselves, or know when they have had enough, but its the same in any case. Whether it is a man who has had too much to drink and ends up in a fight, and is assaulted, or a family in a home which has been burgled, the GLARINGLY OBVIOUS FACT REMAINS, THE CRIMINAL COMMITTED THE CRIME. It was thier choice, not the victims.

a woman out walking her dog with a polo neck & jeans on is as likely to get raped as a lass in skimpy clothing who's been on a night out...

so woh deserved it more...none of them..

yes things can be done to try to make sure it didn't happen to you but its never going to impossible that you won't be a victim..

would you say that a bloke was to blame if he was raped by another man on his way home... oooh well his shirt had 3 buttons undone at the top & i could see his boxers over his jeans...

but i agree with who ever siad that there are too many women who cry rape...its making it even harder for those who are actually raped to get a conviction...
