Habit Announcement

After 6 months at the Other Rooms, Habit is upping sticks and moving onto pastures new.

Keeping within our policy of all things intimate we have taken the decision to implement our foundations at the Cosmic Ballroom. It is a decision that has not been taken lightly and has involved a great deal of discussion however we felt overall the move would be a positive one for the night.

After co-habiting next door to Wax On and various other factors we felt it best to move onto a venue that has more flexibility for our crowd and avoids 2 nights literally existing next door to each other. We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the people we have worked with at the Other Rooms and Digital for their support during our stay there. However, we feel the time is right for us to move on.

The Cosmic Ballroom has everything we want to offer the people we put these nights on for. We are sure that when you walk into the venue you will know why we have made this move, we now have a full club space along with a back room that can be fully used to utilise contrasting sounds.

What better way to pave the way forward at the new venue than with the man who originally opened Habit up for us…… Desyn Masiello.

Good Friday will see Desyn return with his own trademark soundtrack with support from our very own Scott Udberg.

Me and Scott are totally buzzing about moving. The new venue is much better for us, it has the potential to go right off.

Couldnt think of a better way to start there than Desyn doing another 4 hour set for us on Good Friday.

Miller, the cloakroom wasn't really the main reason for the move to be honest Although, it is a factor because it means we dont have to worry about getting someone to do a cloakroom and dont have to worry about doing the door ourselves, so that is a bonus.

For anyone who liked Foundation, I think you will love the Cosmic Ballroom.

Intimate, sleazy, dark, industrial vibe with good soundsystem.

I hope you don't mind me popping along..

Its not a bill problem as far as I know...... Spoke to Danny this morning and he is aware of it but could be that the board has been hacked or problem with the forum server.
