Yes but there are very few exercises which work only one muscle group. Even if you were to break it down to sub muscle groups you're still going to be working muscles that need to recover. If you are able to train effectively 5 days a week you are not working hard enough in your sessions. After most sessions it takes me ten minutes to get my t shirt off and i struggle getting the shower on
Trust me, unless you are jabbing then you will be, people can't be convinced of this though as i meet a lot of people in the gym who think they know it all
Quite often i only train twice a week and see much greater gains than when i was training 5 times a week 5 years ago. Arguably everyones body works differently but in general 3 sessions a week of weights is enough for anyone. If you want to get fit as well then stick a couple of cardio sessions in but you'll lose some bulk in the mean time if thats what you're going for anyway.
Tin of tuna? i often just eat it out of the tin I absolutely hate cottage cheese but i'll eat a tub of that from time to time
he did compete, didn't take roids though as he was naturally quite big, i obviously got more of my mams side build wise tbh he'd kill me if i took roids, 1 of his best mates had a heart attack and died on stage through them and the other recently had a stroke.
Yeh it can put a great strain on your body depending on what you're taking. Cool though, fair play to him for competing natural, not many people do it these days.
Re: Weight Training u want a high carb and protein drink.... have a look on the net and see which has the higest carbs and protein... u dont need anything else ps.. research has show working your muscle twice per week is the best
funny how this thread is here and ive only just decided myself to do the same. Ive just bought lots of tins of tuna, chicken breast, oats for my breakfast, fruit. and some baked beans. im gonna live on chicken and tuna for a couple of months and pump iron im sick of being a skinny cunt
Don't bother with baked beans.. they're full of sugar. Go for a mixed been salad, with plenty of kidney and cantellini beans. I'm starting to go back to the gym now after a few months off.. its a lot harder than I remember The hardest thing though is trying to regulate what you eat.. Its hard trying to resist chocolate etc..
sugar etc aint a problem for me as long as im getting good fibre and protein really. im totally skin and bones. im doing running etc as well as weights so im not gonna have any problems with a bit sugar in beans plus baked beans are tasty

You also need to eat a balanced diet, your body can only digest so much protein at one time so there is no point in only having only protein, you will be burning alot of carbs whilst training and these need to be replaced.
