don't know how it's possible to call any other team useless when you've got the two lowest points records in the premiership

and why would we be worried? yea you've got a chairman who gives a fuck about the club, and might possibly have a bit more cash to spend than in previous years, but in reality who's gona go to sunderland? portsmouth have had trouble signin players with all their new money and they're in the premiership.

at the end of the day sunderlands argument is always about how we haven't won anythin for years n years n years, but look at the present instead of the past for a change, newcastle are a much bigger club than sunderland.

on the point of newcastle being bigger than there boots i think a lot of fans are starting to realise what most of us who graduated secondary school allready know . We are a massive club but compared to the likes of man u liverpool arsenal and now chelsea we are small fry . Were on the second tier of prem clubs that are just there to fight for the carling cup and a uefa cup spot ! weve got potential to become bigger but only with the right management and investment . (which is what you hope you have now ) !

they're not that far away if you think about it. remember, it was only a few seasons ago that nufc and liverpool were neck and neck in terms of PL placing. they got benitez and we got souness. obviously souness fucked us a bit but the point i'm making is that it could be all change in a couple of seasons time.

I'd much rather be saying rememeber this FA cup final, or that shitty run in Europe, or that blown lead at the top of the prem as opposed to remember winning Div1, remember getting relegated again, remember finishing second in Div1, rmemeber getting relegated again, remember only winning two matches over the course of 9months etc. The only things you have to look forward to season in, season out is us mucking up or losing a game, or signing someone over-priced. It must make your day.
