Jambon you're off your nut mate :D

If you're seriously suggesting anyone that doesn't wear Gazelles is an indie bandwagon jumper you're a mug.

im not saying that! im saying that music and fashion go hand in hand.

Explain different fashion trends then? Public Enemy wore mercedes logos round there neck and next thing you know kids are pinching them off cars to wear.

Trance music kicks off and kids are wearing cber gear to all the clubs.

The artic monkeys wear lyle and scott and thats probably been one of the biggest selling brands this summer.

If people see there music heros wearing brands then people will follow.

Dr Hew's point was that gazelles were very much part of the whole oasis, blur, supregrass scence in the 90's! it was like a uniform gazelles jeans and jumper or shirt. All brought about by these bands.

how is that in any shape or form what he was saying?

"You claim to be the one who knows about bands and is such a fantastic guitarist. I'm disappointed at your lack of knowledge on Gazelles. Goes a little further to prove your haircut indie status."

I know plenty of professional musicians who wouldn't have a clue what gazelles are.... scenesters tend to follow the fashions - the rest just listen to the music.

I'm not digging scenesters I used to wax a fortune on clothes - but doctor hew is talking bollocks :D

but what he was saying is that if you like this kind of music you should automatically like that clothing or know everhting about it

That's exactly what I was trying imply. Somebody who seems to be a big fan of indie, particularly Oasis, should at least know what Gazelles are. I never once suggested that every musician on the face of the planet should know about the footware of their colleagues or associated artists, simply that every fucking band in the nineties wore Gazelles, and I'd have expected Oasis to know what they were.

Reading too much between the lines, Joe? Or just a failure to understand simple English?

Too much hebrew literature is affecting your native language skills, mate.

Why should he know about Gazelles... in weardale all the charvers wore them; does that make them scene?

Does everyone that listen to tiesto know of cyberdog? If someone doesn't know what cyberdog is - does it make them a bandwagon jumper?

Just admit you made a retarded comment; your repetative attempts at painting yourself as scene/intelligent/elitest is tiresome.

If you're one of the supposed intelligent elitists on here, then anybody can be.

And I refuse to apologise for a comment which was simply misinterpreted due to stupidity.
