Leeds Festival - Take 2!!!

We did 2 day trips for the sat & sun of this....


Sat

Fightstar - We caught a bit of these & i'm embarressed to say they were canny good

Dashboard Confessional - These weren't too shabby either, hadn't heard of them before i saw them

Panic! at The Disco - These were awesome, played a class cover of Karma Police

Fall Out Boy - Class, well enjoyed these bad lads

Belle & Sebastian :yawn: :sleep: :yawn:

Yeah Yeah Yeah's - Better than i thought they'd b, the singers a bit odd tho

Kaiser Chiefs - These rocked big style - were pure class They were inroduced on stage by Peter Kay - "I've got two words for you...Kaiser....Chiefs"

Franz Ferdinand - We really enjoyed these...much better live than I thought they would be

Primal Scream - We caught a bit of these & seemed good altho wasted describes their look best (also heard today they went on stage half an hour late after manny was arrested in the hotel bar for kicking off after being refused a drink)

It had a light shower for about 5 mins so we were glad about that...we also saw Max from Hollyoaks wandering about

We had wanted to see Mystery Jets but we had a good spot at the main stage so we didn't

Sun

It was a lot lot busier than the sat....we were still parked in a field with no temp roads of out..

Wolfmother - This is one hairy mother fucker who sings for these. Decent music tho, not offensive anyways

The Cribs - I didn't realise i'd heard anything by them until they played it, not bad at all tho

Be Your Own Pet - saw the end of these...interesting

The Automatic - They were awesome, did a class cover of Golddigger...what's that coming over the hill...

Dirty Pretty Things - These were really good...in fact Class

Feeder - I saw them when they had the original line up too...These rocked big style

The Streets - We stayed for these instead of going to see Jet cos we had a decent spot for the 2 main headliners - wierdly tho I really really enjoyed these...got the crowd going big time & for all those who didn't have a flag he got them to take their tops off & use them

it was when the street were on it really started to rain - there had been a couple of showers before that

Arctic Monkeys - These were awesome live...really impressed...better than the album would suggest imo

Muse - These were the bad lads we went for & they didn't disappoint they were abstolutely class....did all the classics & an awesome cover of "i'm feeling good" - theres a new dawn, theres a new day & i'm feeling good

Since we're going to see Muse in Nov we could've went to see the raconteurs but there was not a cat in hells chance we were going to leave Muse

they were so worth the pissing rain, early mornings at late night

We had brollies with us but it didn't stop us getting soaked...the rain came in sideways

I was drenched & muddy but it was well worth it

I wonder what the line up for next year will be....am getting a big long poncho & a pair of funky wellies tho...

the only bad bit was the walk back to the car which was 20 mins thru muddy fields

then an hour to get out of the field...there was no event people anywhere to see... there was cars getting stuck in the mud..some lad got out of his mates car & spent 40 mins pushing cars when they got stuck...some were little, others were beastie ish cars...(mondeo's) lol

Yvonnes car Timmy (a little 1 litre corsa) got out not bother

Sounds like it was class. Watched the highlights on the telly thought Fallout Boy was class.

Randomly I also saw Dr Mick Off here with his missus...he looked as shocked to see me there as i was to see him

we also saw this revolting fucker piss in an empty cup & then launch it into the crowd....fucking disgusting dick...hit some kid on the head too

also the funniest bit of the weekend was a singer from the automatic going to the crowd & then spitting the dummy when he got mollested

didnt really get to see many people always ended up doing something else. was there from the wed. fucked every night missed 2many dj's and erol alkan.

hundred reasons,millencollin, anti-flag wer decent though

quite dissapointed by somethings but it was alright.

oxfam tent was fun later on and the outside of the duracell tent wen it wasnt raining.

got stuck in ques leaving for about 6 hours needing a drink had 2 droplets of water

did anyone see that guy on the ferris wheel too got on sat down then tuk his clothes off and span it round as fast as possible with everyone cheering him on haha - got escorted off by security wen he got down.
