    The Arches

Valentino and Umek were alright (not as good as trees) but how shit is The Arches?

I have never seen so many pikeys in my life they were everywhere. People were throwing beer all over the dancefloor and everything. Pike thought it was funny untill it happened to him I think he was going to take on the whole club..

    Glasgow is shit.

and the main arche was shut.

atmosphere and lineups. Inside out gets quality trance lineups and I'd heard arches atmosphere was shit hot. Theres bound to be a few loopers in there with it being in Glasgow though

People from glasgow didn't seem to care, I'm sure there isn't actually that much trouble but I struggle to find a good atmosphere in a club full of charvers.

I quite liked the club itself. It was dark and dirty and I thought the sound was amazing. It's just a shame that it wasn't up to much musicially. I did enjoy William Daniel tho and I reckon that proper trance would be great in there.

There was a fair few chavs but I thought the atmos was pretty good regardless. I'd defo go back for a better line-up.

Besides, Nass' banter on the way home was worth the trip alone.

William Daniel was good but Umek and Valentino weren't nearly as good as Tall Trees 2005 which was highly disappointing, along with the main arch being shut, beer thrown everywhere, feeling shit all night, hearing HERE WE FUCKING GO to every tune at least 5 times, and lots of travelling.

i'd rather forget this weekend ever happened, i spent so much money - it's a sore subject and this thread needs closure!

It did my fucking head in, all night.

Another one was something like "glasgow glasgow we're all fucking mental"

I thought Valentino was alright, Umek slightly better. Nothing on Vicious Techno though.

I still enjoyed it, I just really thought I would never go to inside out again. Maybe pressure is less pikey.

I dont know what you expected tbh

the combination of a lineup like that and Glasgow = full on ned central

the atmosphere at Pressure is unrivalled to any club ive ever been to

I remember going a few years back, around the time when Silicone Soul - Right On Right On was becoming big...Silicone Soul dropped it and the place went into some kind of ecstacy-mosh pit with everyone grabbing the people next to them and indulging in some 'your my best mate' antics

    awesome

That's because you've never been clubbing yet.
