10 years of Oasis! Were you Oasis or Blur?

10 years to the day that Oasis released their Definitely Maybe album! Can you believe a decade has passed already.

Anyway, who were your fav! Blur or Oasis? And what were your favourite songs?

Although I saw Blur in concert and thought they were class, Oasis were always my favourite! Can listen to their whole album and not skip a track.

Always was Oasis and always will be :D

I would of went to Knebworth if i hadnt of went to the Charity Shield that weekend, some two days that would of been

Blur never could match Oasis altho they did have some good songs and there greatest hits album is canny !

I still listen to Oasis quite a bit, Whats the story and definately maybe are probs there best albums and its funny how there b sides would probs beat the majority of bands at the times a sides

As much a Liam & Noel are cocks or were Oasis were deffo :king: of there time, just a shame they couldnt conquer USA

I was a Blur fan back then, hated Oasis with a passion. I do like some of their stuff now though...

I went to see Blur back in the day, never particuarly liked them though. I don't like Oasis much either, only as background music, never owned albums or anything.

I was universally slated for being a Happy Hardcore / Gabba fan when the britpop wagon was doing the rounds.

    SO neither :D

    Oasis by a mile.

All their B-sides are mintos - D'yer wanna be a spaceman, Fade away, Half the world away, talk tonight etc

Fav songs are Sad Song and Angel Child.

They proved how good they were at Glastonbury

Oasis did one great album, followed by one decent album, followed by several heaps of shite.

Blur have been more consistenly good, and have always tried new things, and have more songs that i will still like in another 10 years time. That said, their "Country House" period was a right heap of shite!

i like them but they both remind me of really depressing times when they were out? i can just remember hearing them on a really shit tinny alarm clock radio first thing on a rainy monday morning back in year 5 at school.

Remeber the day well when i bought Definatley Maybe was only 14 and thought i was cool as fuck, all the tracks on the album were and still are outstanding and no other british band have made such an impact with their debut album, Nirvana - Nevermind had a similar impact but they were american.

All the tracks on definatley maybe i liked but for some reason i used to and still love Married With Children.
