    Im NOT pro iranian - but this whole affair stinks. Im pleased that our servicemen and women are safe, but to be honest i think Iran have played this perfectly - if you saw tony blairs statement before, he just looked like a fool - Iran said themselves that the UK barely did anything about these servicemen, other than wage a propaganda war in the west about it.

    Those sailors should have been prevented from whoring themselves to the media over this whole affair. Some news shows have been right to interview the parents of people killed the week previously to ask them how they feel about the whole situation ..... and what about the servicemen and women who DONT get captured and risk their lives every day. Do they get a hundred grands worth of pay off?

    If they DIDNT release them, there would be hell to pay. All they did was release them in a way that made them look good, and the UK look dumb.

    Is it up to the west to decide which countries are allowed to advance themselves ..... or would you prefer that these arab nations just exist to supply the likes of us with oil - while they scratch around for a living?

    .... people draw comparrisons with the rise of hitler and the like, and they are right to an extent. I dont support any of the rubbish he's said about the holocaust or israel. However, is it up to US to decide who has a military, or who has nuclear weapons?

    .... Considering how we have royally fucked the Iranians over the past 60 years, im not surprised they hate us. They arent stupid tho - just like Pakistan and North Korea ..... they know the moment they try anything on with anyone they are as good as Afghanistan or Iraq.
