    Adopting an animal...

    Anybody ever done it?

    Im thinking about adopting an elephant for my niece for christmas.

    my friend kate has just adopted a penguin for her bf for christmas. cost her £25 and its in london zoo, and you get a free ticket to go see it

    my friend got a tiger last year for xmas, i think its a dead sweet present and oozes that you thought about it:D :love:

    I can see why this is a good idea, but im not sure if my £30 will get my niece to Botswana to see a goat. :lol:

    My mam n dad came home from Thailand this year with 2 paintings done by elephants. There was no way i was ever going to believe that they were painted by an elephant until i was shown the video. :oops: :lol:

    what i mean is u give em loads of cash, as u hav 2 pay every month or week or summit and never get 2 see it and dont know where ure money is going,

    That makes no sense.

    You can either pay monthly or all at once, and if you read about it you know exactly where the money goes. Although i suppose animals are about as useful to you as black people are.

    mine is a child like painting but was reading in the paper they can sell for wads of dosh but i'm going to keep mine.

    we saw pictures of a chinese bloke teaching elephants how to paint proper pictures & 1 of them cud paint orchids :lol:

    Yeah the 2 paintings they got are of a tree, and are probably better than what i can paint :lol: Apparently some of them sell for more than £100,000 :eek: I coulnt tell you if they were in the north or south though as im not really that interested :p

    I'll try and get a photo of one of the paintings when they go up on the wall.

    they're cleverly done a lot of them..mine are just lush splodges of colour...kind of like my artistic talent now :lol:
