    This is a place to vent your anger about america. Cos lets face it, it is possibly one of the worst places in the world!!!

    They're politics, food, weight problem, arrogance etc etc the list goes on

    I dont understand why people go on holiday there too be honest......people want to go shopping at new york, i say go to london!!! There are 4 McDonalds in every square mile!!!! Thats just got to be hell! Everything has always got to be MEGA sized!!!

    there arent that many actually - not as many as you'd expect. I was there last month.

    the place is littered with star bucks though - you cant walk a single block without there being one of those overpriced dirt merchants somewhere.

    I wouldnt know, thats not on my list either!!!

    I dont see the point on going on holiday to somewhere like that.....it's like my worst nightmare

    We spoke to some people who live in london a few weeks ago and they said you can hear gun shots throughout the day....it's apparently just like america.

    Why would you want it to be like this?

    New York is safer than London statistically .... i never felt unsafe at all when i was out in brooklyn or the village/soho at night.

    Bullshit about the gun shots in London hehee - maybe if you hung around in hackney or brixton or somewhere, but certaintly not in the majority of places.

    If anything i feel less safe in Newcastle on a friday/sat night with the number of chavs looking for some post club/pub bother outside the takeaways - theres no kind of culture like that in london for the most part.

    I was glad to come back from there when i went over for 5 days.

    Nice to visit, but by and large the whole country is nuttier than squirrel turds - I spent hours in bed each day just staring at the TV, goggle eyed with the stuff that the country is drip fed with, and the stuff that they come out with on tv shows and the like.

    A novelty - but ive never felt so glad to be european.
