anone know out about online radios? downloaded winamp, shout cast server and the bit 4 winamp but cant get it connecting/working? any ideas/links?? i have a host.
its a right pain in the arse.. make sure the plugin is setup properly... i got it working on 56k ageeeees ago

i want to do it for myself, nearly got everything working just my router is blocking it n dunno how 2 stop that
log into your router and open the shoutcast port up (think it's 8038, can't remember off the top of my head as it's been a while since i did it...) the manual for your router should explain how to log into it, usually it's done via telnet or ssh
you need to get the server bit run it. then open winamp, select the shouctast plugin. it should open. select the correct source. click connect. its working. should do anyway...
yeah digitally imported is good, i find it easier jus 2 use windows media player and search 4 the stations!
also getting this on www.toolbox.com/cantheygetin (think its that) 82.39.72.65:8000 is Closed Reason Given: Connection refused More about this error: This essentially means that the port is open to the internet but has no services associated with it. There is no firewall protection on this port.
