not really the same is it Was well impressed with the Juke Box theyve got in the Turks in Tynemouth now, 2 million songs available.. Shames it £1 a shot
hahaha i toture my local with them download jukeboxes like! OAPS forced to listen to drum and bass, and even if i didnt want to listen to it - i just wanted to know what the reaction would be 1.30 in the afternoon, old jimmy comes in for his quiet pint of exhibition and to read the paper. suddenly "Dj Krust - Warhead" blasts onto the soundsystem many pensioners wound up, worth a quid in my eyes
I don't know if they already have them but they should have a juke box where you can plug in ya mp3 player or ipod and listen to whatever's on it. You pay for time rather than songs.
I've read they have ipod party's over in new york, each person gets so much time, or so many tracks or whatever - easy money for the dj!
dear god, they're no need for a DJ then - just a dock and a user interface! technology is takin over sed i!
LOL me and my kid used to do that in a packed westoe pub on a friday night. Had the full anjunabeats vol 5 album blasting out.
Ive heard about that aswell sounds like a class idea you get 4 or 5 tracks or a time slot. Think there was somewhere in Manchester that did it aswell
I remember doing that in the Chilly Arms with that Goldie tune that went on for 20 mins, everyone was sick to death, students + locals. When the taxi came to shoot to the town, I selected it 3 more times.
my mate did that in reds at northumbria, some random kraftwerk track that was on for 15 mins or something stupid like that
hahhaa i remember having a rousing rendition of pendulums "hold your colour" in the chilli arms a while ago it always seems to be DnB when its one of them Jukeboxes! must be for the impact. :groovy: good social experiment - find an impossibly annoying tune, get it put on here. everyone goes to the pub as normal, and report back any pub violence that takes place. gabba anyone?
