You wouldn't be able to bite through the meat as it would be too tough...all the bread would rip and all the insides would fall out and it would slop everywhere erghhhhh I hate sandwiches which do that!

They are supposed to be regularly massaged with sake, the Japanese rice wine, to tenderize the flesh. thats the funniest bit
