    Re: Re: arcane

needless to say back to lower numbers or nowt...

thought it would be a cosmos set but looking back, dont think it would have worked if he wasnt commercial, he needed something to get the crowd going, and that he certainley achieved... it was like david brent doing your school disco at one point tho with his pa 'IM THE JEDI MASTER!'

he got away with playing air's - alpha beta gaga too...

the vj was superb also... apparentley one of the best in the country...

medicine8 were good, worked the crowd very well, but they really need to learn new tricks and tracks.. blue monday doesn't cut it anymore and i cant believe i waited around for shakedown

they were great 2 years ago.. think they need to stay in the studio now though...

Once again another great night had at arcane :D

Middleton rocked the place, even if it was a bit comercial. Carter was awesome as usual playing one of my favorite sets of the year. I really didnt rate medicine 8 at all tbh so pussied out and left at 3.30.

    :)

I thought most of the music was dull and samey, with some tunes thrown in to 'work the crowd' which didnt fit at all...e.g. nirvana:rolleyes:

p.s. tom - as if you have your own picture as your avatar
