    Are Classics Just?

are classics nights in general just a cynical way of milking the punters for all they are worth for club nites that have lost their way or seen better times?

No their a chance for clubbers to hear the tunes that they've loved over the years in one night - Winner :cool2:

Classics nights are good - just as long as they aren't over used - people then tend to get sick of them

I don't see any problem with classics nights - (sometimes) it's what people want!!!!

It can be whatever you want it to be really...

A chance to re-live the old days

A chance to experience what it was like in the old days if your too young to have been there

A chance to earn a packet if your a promoter

tbh i dont like classics nights, they just play big tunes everytime (and yes i know thats cos they're classics)
but a tune being a classic is more of a personal thing, their are alot better old tunes out their than the obvious ones that get played everytime :)
also with it being a classics night it normally starts sounding a bit random later on in the night, still a good laugh and a cheap night out tho

It depends ive been 2 a few classics nites this year and they have ended up sounding the same. The DJ's all playing the "99" anthems instead of the classics from 2000-2003 and there are loads.

Plus ifd like 2 hear the less known classics instead of the obvious ones all the time.

Think cream have ripped it a bit with all of their classics nites.

Wooaa there - IF you've been very cheerful in all your recent posts, with me reading them all - i would have seen this mr. negative

    but as 1) i ain't 2) i haven't - stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

And where was Promise mentioned in any of this? and when have i attacked anyone about dissing classics nights? i've not defended/attacked anyones thoughts - i was just commenting on another one of you "i don't like/i'm not going/i thought it was shit" posts

OK mr fucking know-it-all? we'll be mates again once you're off yer high horse and get your head outta your arse. as if anyone takes what i say seriously

i've never claimed to know it all, i have my opinion as does everyone else on here, take a look i say good things aswell as bad, thats why the message board is here for people to have their say, but everytime i put something negative u have to point it out?? what with that, when i say something good do i not get a cheer?
