    Aka the northern lights.

    Visible in the sky at the mo due to the solar flare.

    Look southward and it is high in the sky running east to west, very faint white/blue wisps

    one of natures most amazing sights, hopeing when i go travelling next year to time it right so we can see them.

    Not sure, the pulses off the solar flare were at the greatest last nite and also got the vagaries of the British weather. Whenever anything happens in the sky it is cloudy eg solar eclipse

    I bloody knew it! I told my boyfriend i could see a few really long streaky whispy things in the sky while we were in the car last night and i asked him what they were and that plank told me i was going mad. How rude. Wait till i tell him this.... ill clamp him right up! Thanks mate!! :D
