    Azzuri

    Who's been?

How does it compare to Café 21, both in the quality of the food and the price/value for £.

    Many thanks x

My ex took me for my birthday last year- food was very nice.

Not too pricey either, from what I can remember, around £10-15 for a main course.

Never been to Cafe 21, so I can't compare, but I'd definitely recommend Azzuri Allie.

It's one of my favourite restaurants.

The food is really nice and the most expensive main courses are only about £17.

Last time we went we could smoke at our table but weren't that keen cos it doesn't feel like the kind of place where you should be at your table having a fag. It was a Fri night so was full and I didn't see anyone else smoking :D

I've never been to cafe 21 but I doubt it would be nicer than Azzuri

    www.azzuriuk.com :D

    Been to both.

    Much prefer Azzuri.

But then im probably a bit uncultured for Cafe 21. Its expensive and id rather have a pizza anyway.

The Calzone at Azzuri is amazing, and MASSIVE!

Decent food but at not too high a price, as I should probably put myself on a slight budget.

No recommendation for Comfort, Secco or Black Door there, Tom?

Secco is terrible, CFCo gets the thumbs up - locations a bit shabby? Not unlike Barn, but the food makes up for it..

and I've not eaten at the Black Door, it was barely established when I left..

I'd say go with Caf 21, it didn't get a Michelin star for being any old restaurant :)

I've not been to Secco, but I've heard it's great. Didn't it win the Remy award last year?

I adore Comfort Food Co., but feel like trying places I've not been before.

Off to Azzuri tonight as I'm cheap, but I still need to decide on somewhere to go for food with the 'rents during the week, and Café 21 and Treacle Moon are leading thus far.
